COVID-19 update

We hope that you, your family and staff members are all well and continue to be so during these uncertain times.

At McKenzies we are currently doing everything we can to respond proactively to the current situation. Our main priorities in relation to delivering to you as our clients the help, support and advice you may need is.

  1. Ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our staff, as far as possible by following Government-led medical & social advice.
  2. Making sure that if our staffing capacity is severely reduced due to medical illness, we have appropriate procedures in place to ensure all essential services e.g. Payroll, VAT etc will still be delivered.

For the last decade we have had the ability to work remotely; so, although we have decided to close the office our services delivery will be unaffected. All our staff are now working from.

Last year we joined the XGL group which consists of 120 accountancy firms around the UK & Ireland, www.xeinadin-group.com/ . Over the past few days, as a group, we have drawn up contingency plans to ensure that if a member firm loses a significant number of staff to illness because of the coronavirus, staffing resources from other member firms will be re-directed to that firm to help them deliver essential services over the period.

With these measures in place, we hope to continue delivering our services to you over this period of time, but should there be any changes to the above information, we will be in touch.

Finally, if you are unsure about the actions you need to take over the next few months please do contact us, we do not have all the answers but we will help and support you in the best way we can – sometimes just be a friendly voice at the end of the telephone can make all the difference.

Stay well.
